There's a shake up with the NDP as they try to make some ground lost against the Saskatchewan Party in recent weeks. Nicole Sarauer was announced as the newly elected Interim Leader Tuesday evening and the first woman to lead the party. The move follows the resignation of Trent Wotherspoon, who is contemplating a run at becoming full time leader next year.

It also comes just hours after a new poll showing whatever ground the NDP had gained on the SaskParty following the budget, has been lost in recent weeks. The Angus Reid poll is showing the Sask Party is back in the lead with 48% of voters saying if an election were to be held tomorrow.

That same poll also showed 42% of respondents favoured SaskParty Leader Brad Wall over Trent Wotherspoon.
