With so many people staying home as much as possible during this pandemic, boredom is at an all time high and so are peoples passions and hobbies.

Local Artist Kayla Hanson has recently published a Saskatchewan themed colouring book called Colour Saskatchewan.

Hanson details more about whats in her book.

"What you'll find in the book are illustrations of what you would see in natural settings within the province. I focused on native plants and animals from every corner of the province so you'll see everything from native wildflowers, deer sheds and moose paddles, birds, I've also included insects like dragonflies and lady bugs."

Hanson explained where you can find her book.

"It can be found on Amazon if you search Colour Saskatchewan along with my name Kayla Hanson. I am planning on having copies as soon as the shipment arrives and it will be sold at Dream Drop Terrarium Shoppe down once it opens again to the public."

Hanson added that before this she'd never done a colouring book before and the idea came from when she was involved in a different project with other local artists.
