With exactly one month to go before we hit the polls, we now have more information about the upcoming by-election.

On Monday, the City of Moose Jaw released voter information for citizens to peruse prior to filling out a ballot on October 17th to choose a candidate for the empty seat on City Council, as well as the single available spot on the Holy Trinity Catholic School Board.

The four candidates in the running for City Council are Mike Bachiu, Doug Blanc, Heather Eby, and Steven J. White. For the other by-election for the school board, there's Christine Boyczuk, Alison Bradish and Teri-Ann Metz.

Residents can now find information about each individual in the running, where a voter needs to go to fill out a ballot and what form of identification they will need, where and when advanced polling takes place and what criteria there is to be able to vote in this year's by-election.

The City also announced they will be offering free transit on by-election day, October 17th. For anyone who may have any questions or concerns, you're encouraged to contact elections@moosejaw.ca or you can call the City at 306-694-4426.
