The Saskatchewan Rush looked ready to go for the regular season on Saturday night as they cruised to a 17-11 win over the Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday night at SaskTel Centre.

Ben McIntosh scored three times in the third quarter and Ryan Keenan added four goals in the fourth quarter, including a natural hat trick in the win. Jeff Shattler also found the back of the net on three occasions for the Rush.

McIntosh scored his third goal on a dunk shot from behind the Roughnecks net to punctuate the dominant third quarter.

Marty Dinsdale scored on a penalty shot early in the fourth quarter to give the Rush an 11-8 lead. Connor Robinson, the Rush's first-round pick in the 2018 NLL Entry Draft, and fellow 2018 draft pick Zach Gould from Warman, SK also scored in the fourth quarter.

The Rush will open the 2018-19 season on Friday, Dec. 28 when they hit the road to face the New England Black Wolves. The Rush's home opener will be held on Jan. 5 when they host the expansion San Diego Seals.
