After chances at both ends of the ice to start the second, the Warriors got into some penalty trouble, giving the Pats a 5-on-3 for almost a full two minutes. Regina capitalized with Austin Pratt scoring on the two-man advantage to tie things up at 2-2.

The Warriors continued to pressure and they got momentum on their side late in the period with Dalton Hamaliuk finishing off an odd-man rush with his second goal of the season.

Just 1:53 later, Langan scored his second of the game, blasting a shot past Pats goalie Dean McNabb to make it a 4-2 game.

The Pats went back on the power play in the final minute of the second and they again made it count as Robbie Holmes scored on a point shot to make it a one-goal game going into the third period.

The power plays evened out in the third period, the Warriors were put a man-up six times and they capitalized.
