A full lineup was a world of difference for Team Iroquois on Thursday at the 2018 World Junior Lacrosse Championship in Saskatoon.

A shorthanded Iroquois team on Wednesday suffered a big defeat at the hands of Team Canada, but Team Iroquois was at full strength on Thursday as they rolled to a 25-9 win over the United States.

Marshall Powless powered Team Iroquois with two goals and 11 points, while Tyler Brown added four goals and ten points.

Blaze White, Kainen Francis, David Anderson and Aaron Greyeyes all found the back of the net three times each for Team Iroquois in the win.

The first quarter was back-and-forth with Team Iroquois finishing the frame with an 8-5 lead. They kept the offence rolling over the next three quarters, while holding the U.S. to just one goal in the second and third quarters.

Moose Jaw's Quinn Ingalls and Team Canada will now look to lock up a spot in Sunday's gold medal game when they take on the United States in the round robin finale on Friday.

The Canadians and Americans hit the turf at 7:30 p.m. at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
