The Original 16 Moose Jaw Cash League curling season got underway on Wednesday at the Moose Jaw Ford Curling Centre.

BTN, Froehlich, KMS, John's Music and EMJ Market tied first place at 1-0 after the first draw.

Kaltire, Walchuk, Protec Electric, Cornea and Motion-Golden Mobility are still looking for first win.

Round one saw Protec Electric scored three in the eighth end to sent the game to extras against Froehlich, but Froehlich used the hammer to score one in the extra end for a 8-7 win.

Meanwhile, EMJ Marketing downed Walchuk 6-1, while KMS defeated Kaltire 7-5.

John's Music made short work of Cornea, scoring a 6-1 win with handshakes after the fifth end.

Finally, a short-lived comeback wasn't enough as Motion-Golden Mobility dropped a 6-4 decision to BTN.
