After a week of trying to re-organize, clean and look to what's next, the Fairford location of the Moose Jaw YMCA has re-opened their doors. The local facility was flooded when a water line to the building broke, causing a significant amount of damage.

Hard work has allowed some programming to get back underway although only about half of the building can be used according to CEO Jeff Fox.

"The Before and After School Program has been move to St Margaret School and for this week it will remain there and then next week we'll use the gymnasium as home base and then go outside for that program."

Fox added that the locker rooms, gymnasium, conditioning centre and main floor are back up and running.
