Hold onto your hats, it's going to be a blustery end to the week.  Forecasters are letting us know that high winds will last through Thursday night around Moose Jaw but we're not going to get the rain that was first expected.

All the talk on Tuesday was about a massive amount of rain that was working into the province. While northern parts of the province could see 60-70mm of rain, Meteorologist for World Weather Inc, Drew Lerner says the south will likely stay dry.

"A lot of dense cloudiness is expected as we go through the day (Thursday) as well. It will be our coolest day, most blustery day and wettest day." said Lerner. "Southern parts of the province are not expected to get large volumes of rain fall from this storm system and this would be the Highway 1 corridor and points southward. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see some areas get less than 6mm of moisture."

While conditions will be cooler for the rest of the week as the system moves through the province, conditions are expected to improve and warm up for the weekend.
