Wednesday's spring storm continues to affect travel on area highways around Moose Jaw.

As of 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Highway #39 is closed from Moose Jaw all the way south to Estevan.

The Saskatchewan Highway Hotline is reporting that the road is covered in ice, with some slush and heavy snow, and the visibility is poor.

The storm has also shut down Highways 334 and 339 to Avonlea just south of Moose Jaw.

In addition, Highway #6 just south of Regina is closed all the way to the Canada/US Border.

Besides Highway #39, highways in all directions of Moose Jaw are labeled as travel not recommended.
