Moose Jaw, SK — The Moose Jaw Warriors are excited to announce the signing of forwards Andrej Tomašec and Patrik Král to their WHL Scholarship and Development Agreements.

“Adding Andrej and Patrik brings a lot of speed to our team, which is one thing we wanted to address this year, and both players have skill and will give us more depth to our forward group,” Warriors general manager Jason Ripplinger said.

Tomašec was selected by the Warriors in the first round, 48th overall, in the 2023 CHL Import.

The five-foot-11, 181-pound forward played last season with the KooKoo under-18 team, posting 15 goals and 23 points in 33 games.

Tomašec is also coming off representing Slovakia at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

The Warriors drafted Král in the second round, 108th overall, in the 2023 CHL Import Draft.

Král, a six-foot, 170-pound forward, joins the Warriors after playing for BK Mladá Boleslav U17 and U20 teams last season. He combined for 12 goals and 34 points in 43 games between the two teams.

Both players will be in Moose Jaw for the start of training camp on Aug. 31 at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.
