A Boeing Stearman

The Moose Jaw Municipal Airport will be a popular place to start the week as a fully restored Boeing Stearman biplane will be making a stop as part of the Vintage Wings Tour.

The historic plane was primarily used to help train hundreds of thousands allied World War II aviators. Western Canada Director of Vintage Wings Todd Lemieux says this plane is like nothing he's ever flown before. "It's got more in common with a motorbike because you've got the wind in your face and you have to adjust your altitude to stay warm."

"Those two big bi-plane wings out in front of you, it kind of just frames the earth as you roll by." explained Lemieux. "It's almost like having you're own movie theatre."

The Stearman will be here Monday and Tuesday, from 9am to 6pm with flights available for $375.
