Have you taken your summer vacation yet?  Did it lead to financial strain?

A new poll found 31% of Canadians are stressed over summer spending but 43% of us say we'll spend the same amount of money as we did last summer anyway.

Time is another important factor when it comes to vacation.  Have you taken time for yourself?

More and more Canadians are saying we spend our holidays on obligations.  In fact, there's a word we're using to describe the trend;  "Obli-cation".  

More than half of us say we use some of our earned time off with "obli-cations".  These events include weddings, graduations and funerals.  There are also many who say they've taken vacation days to assist friends and family with moving and new babies.

First there was the "Stay-cation" and now we have the "Obli-cation"...a newly named complication for what seems to be an age-old frustration with your vacation.
