Tobby Hugh Rehbein, age 63, of Central Butte, SK, passed away on April 2nd, 2024, in Moose Jaw, SK after a short but fierce battle with cancer. Tobby was born on November 16th, 1960, to his loving parents, George and Gayle. He was an adventurous middle child of 3 children. Tobby was extremely proud of his work at KMS Construction. He loved to point out previous job sites to those around him while driving by. Tobby developed strong relationships with his co-workers and customers, who became family throughout his 35 years of dedicated employment.

During the summer, Tobby and Bev spent every chance they could boating on Diefenbaker Lake, while listening to his favourite 80's rock music. He was incredibly proud of the two story ice shack he built and they spent every winter in, inviting all his friends and family to spend time with us doing what he loved. They spent many hours on their ski-doo’s, whether it was long rides or Tobby working on a project sled. He was continuously looking for his latest fixer-upper project to tackle and scanning the internet for the best deals. These projects would take him all over the prairies with Bev, and his friends and family, creating many cherished memories for all.

More than anything, Tobby was a proud father and truly loved his children deeply. He loved hosting family gatherings and having his loved ones around. In 2014, Tobby met his beloved wife, Beverly Rehbein (nee: Gardner) and they married exactly 9 years later. Their relationship was filled with consistent sarcasm and laughter.

Tobby is predeceased by his father, George Rehbein. He is survived by his mother, Gayle Rehbein, wife Beverly, and siblings Cindy (Larald), and Michael. He will be deeply missed by his five children, Shelby (Brett), Shelene (Garrett), Gina (Reed), Branden (Candace), and Taya (Brady). Tobby leaves his nephew, aunts, uncles and many cousins to cherish his memory. His sarcastic personality and generous nature will be missed by many.

At Tobby's request there will be no formal funeral service. A private celebration of his life was held on Friday, April 5th at the family farm. Share your memory of Tobby at: www.Eirene.ca
