Check the label before using that sunscreen and watch for updates in the coming days from Health Canada as they investigate Banana Boat.

There are several reports from across Canada from parents claiming the sunscreen caused blisters and burn marks on their children.  One parent is claiming that doctors say the injuries are consistent with caustic chemical burns and took days to finally start to heal.

Banana Boat has issued a statement that they are looking into the claims. It's not exactly clear what version of their sunscreen was used in each case and so far, no recall notice has been issued.
