The Moose Jaw Warriors picked up their third straight win on their BC road trip on Tuesday as they scored seven straight goals and cruised to an 8-3 win over the Victoria Royals. Assistant Coach Gord Burnett spoke with the voice of the Warrior's James Gallo following Tuesday's game.

"It was a slow start for us but we found our legs after we got down one and then things started going our way a bit and put a couple past their goaltender," says Burnett. 

Defenseman Denton Mateychuk led the way for the Warriors last night finishing with a goal and four assists. Moose Jaw will finish off the BC Division on Wednesday in Langley against the Vancouver Giants at 9:00 p.m., and then will head east to Red Deer for a showdown with the Rebels on Saturday night. 

It's a Moose Jaw WINMAR Warriors gameday, as they hit the road to Outlook on Wednesday for a matchup with the first-place Saskatoon Blazers at the Jim Kook Recreation Complex. Wednesday night's action gets rolling at 7:45 p.m.

It was a successful Teddy Bear Toss game for the Moose Jaw U15 AA Warriors on Tuesday, as they took down the Weyburn Wings 6-2 for their sixth win of the campaign. Luke Pratte got the teddy bear toss goal. 

In the NHL on Tuesday, Montreal was blanked 4-0 by San Jose, the Winnipeg Jets Blanked the Colorado Avalanche 5-0, Calgary got past the Panthers 5-2, and Vancouver fell to Washington 5-1. 

And Canada's men's national soccer team will wrap up their FIFA World Cup in Qatar, as they take on Morocco on Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
