The Moose Jaw Warriors wrap up a three-game homestand tonight as the Saskatoon Blades visit the Moose Jaw Events Centre. The Warriors are coming off a 2-1 loss to Medicine Hat on Friday night. The Warriors are three points back of the Blades for second spot in the Eastern Conference. Puck drop tonight goes at 7 p.m. and you can catch all the action on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo. The pregame show gets underway at 6:40 p.m.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors had their five-game win streak snapped over the weekend falling 8-3 to Notre Dame on Saturday night. The AAA Warriors are back on the ice Saturday in Regina.

Just two games in the NHL last night. The Edmonton Oilers picked up their second win in a row defeating the New York Islanders 4-1. The other game saw Colorado outscore Seattle 5-1.

The Vanier Spirits and Central Cyclones have advanced to the provincial 4A senior girls volleyball championship being held next weekend at Vanier. The two Moose Jaw teams met in the final of the regional tournament held this past weekend at FW Johnson Collegiate in Regina. The Spirits came out on top two sets to none. The Peacock Toilers will not be advancing to provincials, however, the Toilers will face Vanier in the city championship tonight at Sask Polytech starting at 7 p.m. The boys final goes tomorrow night with Assiniboia facing Central.

The Briercrest Christian Academy Cougars, dropped a pair of games at regionals in Lanigan over the weekend and were eliminated from the hunt for the provincial 3A girls volleyball championship.

In 2A girls volleyball, Gravelbourg will be moving onto provincials after they advanced to the championship final at regionals over the weekend in Kenaston. Davidson beat Gravelbourg in the final two sets to none.

In 3A boys volleyball, Assiniboia won the conference tournament over the weekend in Shaunovan with a 3-0 record. Briercrest Christian Academy finished 1-2.

In 2A boys, Cornerstone Christian School won the Gold medal with a 4-0 record at the conference tournament held in Davidson. Riverview finished with a 1-3 record. Gravelbourg went 0-3 at the conference tourney held in Gravelbourg.

The Rouleau Rebels went undefeated in the 1A boys volleyball conference in Avonlea over the weekend, and they're off to Regionals next weekend. Yellow Grass will also advance to Regionals, with Avonlea having come up short after taking Yellow Grass to a third set.

Team Saskatchewan defeated Team Manitoba 5-4 over the weekend to win the 2023 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship at the Swift Current Curling Club.
