We'll start with a tip o' the hat and a way to go to the Peacock Collegiate wrestling team. They brought home 4 medals from the Provincial High School Championships. Brady Ross won silver while Kayde Kell, Sydney Christmann and Kaleb McCrystal won bronze medals.

Peacock is hosting the 4-A Boys' Provincial Basketball Championship this weekend. Central plays North Battleford John Paul II at 6 p.m. on Friday followed by the Peacock Toilers up against Saskatoon Marion Graham at 8 p.m. The bronze medal game is on Saturday at 11 a.m. and the gold is Saturday at 1 p.m. 

The local minor hockey season continues for those in the playoffs. The U-13 Red Warriors are hanging in there in the Hockey Regina League. Facing elimination and down 5-1 after the first period, they came back to beat the Lumsden Lions 8-6. Takeo Smith scored 4 goals and assisted on two more. The Warriors followed that up with a 3-2 overtime victory over Regina Buffalos. Smith scoring the winner.

And the U-11 "C" Badgers finished up their hockey season by winning the championship game on the weekend.

To the Western Hockey League...Big game in Swift Current tonight as the Broncos host the Regina Pats. Both of those teams fighting for a playoff spot.

The Moose Jaw Warriors are back in action Saturday night when they host the Saskatoon Blades.

We're down to the final four in the U-18 Triple "A" Hockey League. The Regina Pat Canadians will face off against the Notre Dame Hounds in one semi-final while it's Warman taking on the Saskatoon Blazers in the other series.

NHL....two Canadian teams in action last night. Edmonton Oilers lost a 3-2 overtime decision to Colorado while the Boston Bruins beat Montreal 3-2 in OT.

NBA.....Toronto Raptors lost in Chicago to the Bulls 113-99.
