It's a Moose Jaw Warriors game day, as the team begins their two-game Alberta road swing on Tuesday in Edmonton against the Oil Kings. Puck drop is slated for 8:00 p.m. MT and the coverage can be found on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo on the call. 

Sticking with the Warriors, Moose Jaw product, Atley Calvert was named the WHL's player of the week on Monday. Calvert has been red hot recording five goals and three assists for eight points in his last three games, which included a career-high four-point night last Wednesday in Lethbridge. The 19-year-old has already surpassed his career best in points with 41. 

The Warriors are on the clock and we will have to wait and see if the team makes any last-minute moves, as Tuesday marks the WHL's trade deadline. The team has until 4:00 p.m. CST, on Tuesday to make any trades to beef up their roster heading into the last two months of play. 

Some high school basketball action on Monday night. Central was able to take down Assiniboia 66-61, and the Hounds of Notre Dame were 46-40 winners over Peacock. 

And in the NHL on Monday, three Canadian teams were on the ice. Montreal was blanked by Seattle 4-0, Edmonton was doubled up by Los Angeles 6-3 and Ottawa was shutout 3-0 at home against the Predators.
