It's Military Appreciation Night at the Moose Jaw Events Centre as the Moose Jaw Warriors are hosting the Regina Pats tonight at 7:00 p.m. Several military personnel and their families will be in the building and are going to be honoured prior to the puck drop. Catch all the action with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo on Country 100. 

It's a big weekend for the Moose Jaw WINMAR AAA Warriors as they are looking to snag four points and move up in the standings. On Saturday they will begin a three-game road trip as they take on the Battleford Stars in a two-game road series and then are in Swift Current on Tuesday night. 

The U18 AA Warriors take to the ice this weekend looking for their first win of the season, as they play the Melville Millionaires on Saturday in Caronport and then Sunday here in Moose Jaw. 

All three Moose Jaw high school football teams are in action this weekend, as the playoffs get underway. The Vanier Vikings host Estevan at Gutheridge Field, Central is in Yorkton and Weyburn hosts Peacock. 

In Wednesday night's Cash League at the Moose Jaw Curling Centre Johns Music took down Silk 9-5, Protec Electric over Paws N Play 9-2, Montgomery sneaked by EMJ Marketing 7-6, BTN won 9-4 over Kal Tire, and Froehlich out scored RK Sunview 6-2. 

Only one Canadian team was in action on Wednesday in the NHL. The Winnipeg Jets were able to get past the defending Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche 4-3 in overtime. 

And the Saskatchewan Roughriders take to the field this weekend for the second to last week in the CFL, they host the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
