The Moose Jaw Warriors are back on the practice ice preparing to kick off their three-game road trip Saturday night in Prince Albert. The Warriors have dropped two straight, losing to Regina and Prince Albert this past Tuesday and Saturday respectively. Moose Jaw sits in fourth place in the East Division with a 6-5 record. Game time Saturday night is 7 p.m. and you can catch all the action on Country 100 with the pregame show starting at 6:40 p.m.

The WHL Cup kicked off last night in Red Deer. Team Saskatchewan dropped a 4-2 decision to Team BC, with Moose Jaw Warriors prospect Micah Davidson making 32 saves for the win for BC. The other game saw Team Alberta beat Team Manitoba by that same 4-2 score.  Today's games feature Saskatchewan taking on Alberta and Manitoba facing BC. The event showcases the top 2008-born players from the four western provinces.

Last night in the NHL, Ottawa blasted Washington 6-1 and Detroit doubled up on Pittsburgh 6-3.

In the ALCS, the Houston Astros picked up a much-needed win beating the Texas Rangers 8-5 to cut the Rangers' lead in the series to two games to one. Arizona hosts Philadelphia in game three of the ALCS this afternoon. The Phillies lead that series two games to none.

Tonight in the NFL, New Orleans hosts Jacksonville.
