The Moose Jaw Warriors are back to practicing in preparation for back-to-back home games this weekend. They'll host the Regina Pats tomorrow night with the Lethbridge Hurricanes visiting on Saturday.

The Moose Jaw Winmar AAA Warriors are still alive in the playoffs after a 4-3 win over the Regina Pat Canadians. Jonah Pinel scored one and set up two more, including the winning goal which was scored by Jake Briltz in the 3rd period. Game 4 of the best-of-five is at 7 tonight at the Moose Jaw Events Centre.

Team Saskatchewan is in first place in Pool B at the Montana's Brier. Mike McEwen's team were 10-2 winners over Koe's Northwest Territories, and they scored a 9-3 win over Nunavut. They next take on 2-5 Quebec this afternoon.

Curling Canada is staging a news conference in Regina tomorrow to make what they're calling "an important announcement about the sport of curling, the province of Saskatchewan and in particular the city of Moose Jaw". 

Junior Girls and Boys and JV Boys will have their basketball semifinals tonight. The Juniors are playing at Vanier - Junior Girls will see Vanier and Central facing off at 6:20, and Junior Boys have Peacock and Central Red on the court at 8. JV Boys are at Riverview - It's Notre Dame against CCS/RVCI at 6:20. Admission to all games is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

In the NHL last night, the Toronto Maple Leafs needed overtime to beat Buffalo Sabres 2-1, and Ottawa lost 2-1 to the Anaheim Ducks.
