A late-game rally was not enough for the Miller Express, as the Lethbridge Bulls sweep the two-game series with a 5-2 win on Wednesday night at Ross Wells Park.

Moose Jaw will have Thursday off and will return home on Friday and Saturday for a two-game series against the Regina Red Sox.

In Minor Baseball...The Moose Jaw 18U AA Canucks picked up a huge 11-4 win Wednesday night in Regina. They will be back in action on Saturday in Swift Current to take on the Assiniboia Aces.

The 18U AAA Canucks will travel to Muenster on Saturday for a two-game series against the East Central Red Sox. The 15U AAAs are in Saskatoon this weekend in exhibition play against the Saskatoon Expos on Saturday.

The 12U South Sask Stealth team won the gold medal game in their Provincials on Wednesday against the Saskatoon SWAT. 3-1. The Stealth regular season record vs the SWAT was 1-3 leading up to the Provincial games. The 12U Moose Jaw Mustangs hit the floor for their first round of the Provincial championship on Friday at 5:00 p.m. at the Kinsmen versus the Weyburn Thrashers.

Brett Howden, Tanner Jeannot, Jayden Halbgewachs, and Zach Sawchenko are among the alumni getting set for the Moose Jaw Warriors Alumni Golf Tournament tomorrow at the local Hillcrest Club.  The Warriors want FANS to know you're most welcome to come out and enjoy the action.  The golfing starts at 8:30 tomorrow morning.

The third and final round of the Saskatchewan Golf Provincial Golf Championships at the Royal Regina Golf Club takes place on Thursday. Brendan Gerbrandt out of the Moose Jaw Hillcrest Club is 28 shots off the lead after shooting a 93 on Wednesday in the Juvenile Men U-17 Division. He teed off at 8:10 a.m. Thursday morning.

Davin Karst from the Assinbioa Golf Club is in the mix as well in the Junior Men U19 Division, as he is 7th after two rounds shooting a 73 on Wednesday in round two. He is 10 strokes off the leader heading into round three on Thursday. He tees off at 11:30 a.m.

In CFL action tonight has the Edmonton Elks hosting Calgary Stampeders.  Saskatchewan Roughriders play host to Ottawa tomorrow night - a 7:30 p.m. start at Mosaic Stadium.

The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the win column.  The Jays beat Oakland 2-1 Wednesday night. The Jays are now in Seattle for a 4-game series against the Mariners beginning Thursday night at 8:10 p.m.
