Ryder Korczak led the way with a hat trick as the Moose Jaw Warriors won 3-1 last night at the Hangar against the Winnipeg Ice. It was Korszak's second hat trick of the season and he recorded his 200th career point. The Warriors are now 2-0 against the league-leading Ice this season.

The Warriors are back in action on Friday night when they host the Brandon Wheatkings at the Moose Jaw Events Centre in the first of a home-and-home series. Game time is 7 p.m. You can catch all the action on Country 100 with the voice of the Warriors James Gallo starting with the pregame show at 6:45.

At the World Junior Hockey Championships last night, the Regina Pats' Connor Bedard had three goals and seven points as Team Canada downed Germany 11-2. Canada is back in action tonight when they take on Austria. Meanwhile, the Warriors' Robert Baco had a goal as Team Slovakia upset the United States 6-3.

In the NHL, there were only two Canadian teams in action. Montreal dropped a 4-1 decision in Tampa Bay to the Lightning and Jonathon Huberdeau had the game-winner for the Calgary Flames as they downed the Seattle Kraken 3-2.
