The extreme cold warning remains in place for the whole province as arctic air mass continues to bring dangerously cold temperatures to the region. The extreme cold, combined with winds of 15 to 30 km/h, will result in wind chill values ranging from -50 to -40 at times over the coming days.

A spokesperson for Environment and Climate Change Canada expects that more cold weather records will be broken Saturday night into Sunday morning.
