Premier Scott Moe is on an 11-day trade mission to Japan and South Korea.
A key focus of the mission will be promoting Saskatchewan’s agriculture and agri-food products.
With current trade disputes in other key markets, discussions will focus on advancing opportunities under the CPTPP and the Canada Korea Free Trade Agreement for Saskatchewan canola, wheat, durum, malt barley, pulses, beef and pork.
#OurFoodHasAStory and for pork produced at Thunder Creek Pork in Moose Jaw, Japan is a key part of that story. Lacto Japan imports 2-3 containers from Thunder Creek each week, selling this product to NH Foods. Great to meet with Lacto, NH, and Donald’s Fine Foods today #SaskTrade pic.twitter.com/3iFJLNUd8Q
