The Saskatchewan Rush's pre-season opener has fallen victim to the on-going labour dispute between the National Lacrosse League and Professional Lacrosse Players Association.

The Rush was scheduled to host the Colorado Mammoth on Friday at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, but the pre-season contest has been cancelled.

All tickets, whether purchased as part as a season-ticket package or as an individual game ticket, will be fully refunded.

The NLL and PLPA have been negotiating a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for the past year, but the players' union rejected the league’s most recent offer last week.

In a media release, the Rush state that all future home games remain scheduled to be played.
