The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed four international players on Tuesday, including one with three seasons of NFL experience.

Defensive back Curtis Brown, defensive end Ryan Jones, offensive lineman Joseph Treadwell and running back Devrin Young all joined the Riders on Tuesday. As always, terms of the deals were not released.

Brown – six-foot, 185 pounds – played in 34 regular season games in the NFL with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2011-13 after being selected in the third round of the NFL Draft in 2011. The 27-year-old attended training camp with the New York Jets last season and played in one preseason game.

During his collegiate career, Brown played four seasons at the University of Texas.

Jones – six-foot-four, 245 lbs – comes to the Green and White after four seasons at Montana State where he recorded 127 defensive tackles and 10.5 quarterback sacks.

Treadwell – six-foot-five, 325 lbs – started 48 NCAA games at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, playing both left and right tackle. The 23-year-old spent time on the Houston Texas' practice roster last season after playing in three preseason games.

In 33 career collegiate games at the University of Tennessee, Young totaled 67 kickoff returns for 1,543 yards and 32 punt returns for 312 yards. The five-foot-eight, 173 lbs tailback added 50 carries for 204 rushing yards and 18 catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns.

The Riders will be holding their first free agent camp this weekend.
