Cattle Call 2016 rolls on, saluting the hard working ranch families of Southern Saskatchewan.

One of the most recent entries comes from the Caronport area where Bonnie Clubbe and her husband Rick calve out 75 Simmental Angus X cows.  They were surprised this spring when their gray cow gave birth to twins...one red and the other black.

This is a photo we received from Yvonne Fjaagusund.  She captioned this "the three amigos in their pen".  Yvonne and her husband Dave work a 300 head commercial Black Angus operation.  They are third generation ranchers.

Meanwhile, Jack and Claudette Craig have a ranch near Mossbank, and are about halfway through delivering close to 200 calves this spring.  Interestingly, the Craigs also breed donkeys, which Claudette told us help keep coyotes at bay.  Here are a couple pictures they sent us of their herd..and the donkeys.

Send your pictures in to us just like Dave and Yvonne and Jack and Claudette did.  Email your photos and stories to greatesthits@goldenwestradio.com. You could win a great prize package including:
