Starting Wednesday, it will be mandatory to wear a mask when entering any Walmart location across Canada, including here in the friendly city. Walmart is now part of the growing list of establishments in Moose Jaw where masks are

mandatory, including the tourism trolley, and Dollarama.

DiscoverMooseJaw posed the question Monday asking what you thought about masks, and if they should be made mandatory in all indoor locations in Moose Jaw.

The response was overwhelming with over 8,800 people chiming in.

  • 62.5% of respondents said they don't think masks should be mandatory,
  • 35.6% said they should be mandatory, and
  • 1.9% were undecided.

This despite there being 125 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan than there was at this time a month ago.

The poll is still active, and if you would like to give your thoughts, you can do so by clicking here.

The poll conducted is non-scientific and the results are not intended to be used for any decisions being made by the City, province, or any other governing bodies that have the authority to make such decisions.
