Moose Jaw Police responded to 38 calls for service.

7:23 am – Theft Under – Items were stolen from a vehicle. This was reported for insurance purposes.

8:11 am – Suspicious Person – An unknown person was going into residential yards. The area was checked and the subject was gone prior to arrival.

10:01am – Mischief – There was a report of numerous vehicles damaged while parked overnight. Approximately $3000.00 in damages was done.

12:56 pm – Attempted Theft – There was a report of a commercial property that had an attempted break in. This is still under investigation.

12:57 pm – Fraud/Other – A fraudulent credit card transaction was reported at a business. Advice was provided.

1:41 pm – Suspicious Person – An unknown person was reported to be in a public area and appeared to be in some form of distress. Police attended and the subject had left the area.

2:07 pm – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of a person loitering at a business. Police attended and the subject complied when asked to leave the area.

2:44 pm – Parking Bylaw – There was a report of a vehicle parked that was a possible hazard to other drivers. Police attended and the vehicle was gone.

2:51 pm – Suspicious Person – An unknown person was reported to be in a public area and appeared to be in some form of distress. Police attended and the subject was warned of their actions.

3:03 pm – Unwanted Guest – There was a report of a person at a place of business that was causing a disturbance. Police attended and assisted.

6:38 pm – Suspicious Person – There was concern for the well-being of an individual who appeared to be in some form of distress. Police attended and the subject had left the area.

8:42 pm – Hit and Run – There was a report of a parked vehicle that was hit and approximately $200.00 in damage was sustained. This is still under investigation.

9:54 pm – Driving Dangerous – There was a report of a vehicle driving the wrong direction on the road.

11:21 pm – Assault – There was a report of an assault with minor injuries sustained.

3:40 am – Noise Bylaw – There was a report of a neighbor being loud.

5:09 am – Suspicious Person - An unknown person was reported to be in a public area and appeared to be in some form of distress. Police attended and the subject left the premise.

Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
