Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.  

7:36 am – Well Being Check – The subject was located at home in good health, and they were advised to get in touch with family.  

8:28 am – Assist Sick Person – Advice was given, and referrals were made for additional resources. 

9:17 am – Landlord/Tenant Situation – This was found to be a civil matter, and the property manager handled the situation. 

9:44 am – Mischief – Nails were spread over the parking lot of a property in the 1000 block of 12th Ave SW. This is still under investigation to obtain video.  

9:55 am – Shoplifting – Merchandise was taken from a business in the 500 block of Thatcher Dr E. This is still under investigation to review video and identify the suspect. 

11:55 am – Found Drugs Turned In – These were to be disposed of. 

12:32 pm – Dangerous Driving – Vehicles were reported to be racing in the mall parking lot.  Vehicle descriptions and plate numbers were obtained.  Both registered owners were warned for their driving actions. 

1:25 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located safe, and the caller was notified. 

1:45 pm – Mischief – Approximately 2 dozen eggs were thrown at a house in the 1100 block of Meier Dr. This is still under investigation to review video footage, and to conduct neighbourhood checks. 

1:52 pm – Mischief – Sometime over the last week a vehicle parked in the 900 block of Maplewood Dr. was damaged. This is still under investigation to obtain video footage. 

3:19 pm – Fraud - Two unauthorized cheques were cashed for large amounts, and this is still under investigation to obtain a statement and information from the bank. 

3:22 pm – Impaired Driving – The vehicle was located, and the driver was sober, and was warned for driving actions. 

3:42 pm – Mischief – A bobcat was vandalized sometime overnight in the 1000 block of Bradley St.  Approximately $1000 of damage was done, and this is still under investigation to review photos provided. 

4:14 pm – Motor Vehicle Accident – Police attended and deemed the accident non reportable. The parties exchanged information and were advised to report it to SGI. 

6:46 pm – Well Being Check – The subject was located and was transported to hospital. They were admitted and left in their care. 

7:04 pm – Threats – This is still under investigation to review copies of threatening correspondence provided. 

9:42 pm – Theft – A vehicle was entered around 7pm in the alley of 300 block 3rd Ave NE. Taken was a wallet, a hunting scope, and a pair of binoculars.  This is still under investigation to obtain video and conduct neighbourhood checks. 

11:24 pm – Motor Vehicle Accident – A single vehicle lost control and hit a median.  Minor injuries were treated on scene by EMS, resulting in approximately $7000 in damages and no charges. 

Police responded to one 911 call. 
Police assisted other agencies in eight cases. 
Police executed five warrants.
