Police and Fire Report for July 21-22

Moose Jaw Police responded to 54 calls for service.  

7:18 am – Warrant Execution – Police located a subject with outstanding warrants. The subject was later released with court at a later date. 

7:50 am – Assist Other Police Agency – Another police agency was requesting a statement from a subject in our jurisdiction. 

7:52 am – Erratic Driving – Police received a driving complaint on the east side of town. The registered owner was located and warned of their actions. 

7:57 am – Theft Under – Sometime Monday evening 2 subjects entered a property in the 1100 block of Ominica Street East and stole chairs. Video footage was obtained. This is still under investigation. 

9:37 am – Disturbance – Police attended to an area for a report of a disturbance. The subject was located and warned for their actions. 

10:13 am – Vehicle Seizure – Police located a vehicle with no plates and an expired permit. The driver of the vehicle had a suspended license and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days. 

10:28 am – Assault – Police received a call of an assault. This is still under investigation for charges. 

10:31 am – Suspicious Person – A subject was seen snooping around an area and checking vehicles. This is still under investigation. 

10:45 am – Warrant Execution – A subject came to the station to turn themself in on warrants. They were released for court at a later date. 

10:58 am – Dispute Between Neighbours – A complainant called in to report a dispute. Advice was given. 

11:42 am – Found Property – A complainant attended the station with property they found in the streets. This is still under investigation to contact the owner. 

12:17 pm – Dispute – Police attended a residence for a report of a dispute. The situation was mediated. 

12:57 pm – Dispute – Police received a call regarding an ongoing dispute over property. Advice was given. 

1:44 pm – Warrant Execution – The subject came to the station to turn themself in on warrants. The subject was released for court at a later date. 

2:21 pm – Break and Enter – There was a report of a break and enter to a garage within the last 24 hours in the 700 block of Hochelaga Street East. 

3:20 pm – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant was calling in to report an incident happening online. This was reported for information purposes at this time. 

3:50 pm – Harassing Calls – A complainant was calling in to seek advice regarding harassing phone calls and messages. 

4:49 pm – Disturbance – Police received a call of someone causing a disturbance at a business. The subject was charged. 

5:09 pm – Fraud – A complainant was calling in to report an online fraud. This was reported for informational purposes. 

5:45 pm – Threats –Police received a call of someone being threatened. The subject was charged and held in cells. 

6:21 pm – Break and Enter – Sometime on June 30th a camper trailer was broken into and a solar panel was taken. This is still under investigation. 

6:38 pm – Wellbeing Check – Police attended to a public area for a report of an intoxicated person. The subject was taken to hospital by EMS and left in their care. 

6:55 pm – Dispute Between Neighbours – Police received a call of an ongoing issue between neighbours. 

10:40 pm – Dispute – Police attended to a residence for a report of a dispute. The situation was mediated. 

10:51 pm – Assault – Police attended to a report of an assault. This is still under investigation. 

12:20 am – Weapons – Police seized bear mace. This is still under investigation. 

1:26 am – Curfew Check – Police attended a residence and the subject was not home. This is still under investigation for charges. 

4:14 am – Breach of Undertaking – The subject was located out past curfew hours. The subject was to be charged. 

4:32 am – Unwanted Guest – The subject was located sleeping in the entry of an apartment building. The subject was sent on their way.
