Moose Jaw Police responded to 35 calls for service.

8:07 am – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle was parked on the street for over a week and a half. Tires were marked.

8:30 am – Dispute – A civil dispute occurred and options were given.

9:05 am – Found Property – A knife was found in a parking lot and was turned in.

10:47 am – Suspicious Person – A male was walking around screaming and yelling. The individual was waiting for a friend and agreed to settle down.

12:05 pm – Wellbeing Check – A male was located and was left in the care of the hospital staff.

12:42 pm – Dangerous Dog – An individual and their dog were attacked by another dog. The matter is still under investigation.

12:48 pm – Mischief – Sometime overnight the passenger rear and sliding door windows were smashed. Approximately $1000 in total damage was caused. 

2:30 pm – Missing Person – There was a report of a 6-year-old that went missing on his bicycle. He was found a short time later.

3:02 pm – Break and Enter – A shed was broken into sometime since Friday. Approximately $300 worth of property was taken.

4:21 pm – Mischief – A vehicle was entered overnight. Miscellaneous items were taken.

4:53 pm – Theft - $365.35 was stolen. The matter is still under investigation to review video.

5:48 pm – Unwanted Guest – A male was acting very strange, screaming and yelling. The individual was arrested for causing a disturbance.

5:58 pm – Unwanted Guest – Both parties were spoken to and the situation was mediated.

7:30 pm – Impaired driver – A driver hit another vehicle and proceeded to drive recklessly. The individual was charged with impaired driving, exceeding .08, failing to remain at the scene of an accident and prohibited driving. The vehicle was seized for 60 days and the individual was held for court.

9:54 pm – Theft – There was a report of a theft from a storage unit. The matter is under investigation.

11:00 pm – Unwanted Guest – An individual was not wanted on a home owner’s property. The individual was gone upon police arrival.

12:35 am – Suspicious Person – A person in the area was throwing eggs at a vehicle. There was no one in the area upon police arrival.

Police responded to two 911 calls.
Police responded to one parking bylaw infraction.
Police executed three warrants.
Police assisted one other agency.
