Moose Jaw Police responded to 45 calls for service.

7:37 am – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Suspicious Person – A person in the area was pacing by the windows of a business. They requested money and cigarettes, although the store was still closed at this time. Police attended to the area but did not find the individual as described.

9:14 am – 1100 Block Prince Charles Place – Mischief – A vehicle was entered overnight. Small change and a tire gauge were taken, and the vehicle was ransacked. No damage was done, and there are no suspects or witnesses.

9:24 am – 500 Block Laurier St – Dispute – A complainant stated they had a person in their residence they wished would leave. The person was asked to leave and did so without incident. No further police action was required.

10:46 am – 400 Block Main St N – Theft – A complainant had a bag stored where no one could see it, and sometime during the morning the bag was taken. Video footage was viewed, and charges are to be laid as the suspect was identified.

11:26 am – 1500 Block 9th Av NE – Hit & Run – There is a vehicle with damage to the front driver’s side. Approximately $2,000 worth of damage was done. There were no suspects or witnesses.

11:28 am – 900 Block Main St N – Suspicious Person – a person appears to be living in a vehicle in the area and using the facilities of a business. Police attended and spoke with the individual, and they requested the individual not clean up in the business.

11:36 am – 800 Block Main St N – Dispute – A complainant stated that a person has been harassing them via phone and text and won’t leave them alone. Police are investigating to speak with the person harassing and request them to stop.

12:06 pm – 1400 Block Regal Place – Theft – A vehicle was gone through and the doors were left unlocked. It was rummaged through, but only multiple sunglasses appear to be missing. There are no suspects or witnesses.

12:59 pm – 0 Block Manitoba St E – Fraud – Debit card and cheques were given to a person to cash, and now the complainant is out money. Police are investigating.

1:28 pm – 100 Block 2nd Av NE – Hit & Run – A vehicle was damaged sometime recently in a parking lot. Approximately $1,500 of damage was done. There were no suspects or witnesses.

2:42 pm – 200 Block Iroquois St E – Fraud – A cheque that was cleared was made out to someone the complainant did not know, but they did have a suspect. The cheque was not endorsed by the account owner. Cheques had been previously stolen, and now used. Police are investigating.

3:15 pm – 9th Av NW at High St W – 911 – An accident occurred involving two vehicles. One person was charged with failing to yield. One tow and no injuries occurred. Approximately $4,000 of damage was done.

3:46 pm – 1000 Block Stadacona St W – Theft – A licence plate was stolen from a vehicle over the last two days. It was added to the national database.

4:18 pm – 1000 Block Warner – Theft – The complainant noticed today that a vehicle was missing its licence plate. They are unsure where it may have gone missing. It was added to the national database.

4:34 pm – 300 Block Coteau St W – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated they could see kids climbing on the roof of a building. Police attended and did not note anyone matching the description in the area, and they found no one on the roof of a building.

5:57 pm – 0 Block Oxford St W – MVA – An accident occurred with one vehicle hitting a parked car. One vehicle was towed, causing approximately $10,000 of damage. No injuries were done.

8:19 pm – 4th Avenue Bridge – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated they saw three people on the bridge, with two sitting on the side with their legs dangling over edge. The caller was concerned for their well being. Prior to police being able to attend, the complainant called back and stated they took another drive over the bridge and all three persons were safely to the other side and continuing to walk.

9:45 pm – 1500 Block 4th Av NW – Assist Other Agency – There was a request for a well being check on an individual from out of the city. Police attended to the area but did not find the person described. A further search led to a person in another area. This person was arrested for being intoxicated while in control of a vehicle.

10:29 pm – 300 Block Lillooet St W – 911 – Police received a call in regards to one party throwing objects around and being threatening towards another. Police arrived to find that all parties dispersed from the area. No further action was required.

12:26 am – 1100 Block Hochelaga St W – Threats – A complainant stated that they are receiving threats via social media and they had a suspect. While police spoke with complainant, no proof was given in regards to the suspect, and the complainant blocked the person who was sending messages. The complainant was advised to contact police if anyone shows up at their residence.

1:00 am – 0 Block High St W – Suspicious Occurrence – A person was sleeping in a vestibule. Police attended and spoke with the person, who was sober, and they agreed to carry on.

3:00 am – 0 Block Arrowhead Rd – Assault – A caller stated that kids were fighting and had bloody lips, then disconnected. Police attended to the scene, but the fight had already broken up. Police are investigating to see if one party comes in for a statement for charges.

3:08 am – 1000 Block Stadacona St W – Threats – A complainant stated that threats were being made via social media. The complainant stated they had a suspect but could not provide proof. Police advised that if threats appear to be carried out, the individual should contact police immediately.
