Moose Jaw Police responded to 33 calls for service.

8:57 am – 0 block Iroquois St E – Threats – A complainant called in regards to a possibly threatening text message. The subject stated that they were referencing a comical internet video and no threats were made.

9:16 am – 1000 block 4th Av NE – Hit & Run – Sometime in the morning, the complainant’s driver side mirror was damaged. Approximately $1 000 of damage was done.

9:29 am – 0 block Woodlily Dr – Fraud – A complainant was defrauded of $2 250 and their SIN number.

9:59 am – 900 block Main St N – Fraud – A subject was caught trying to cash a stolen check and was charged with possession of stolen property and forged documents.

10:04 am – 0 block Fairford St W – Hit & Run – A complainant reports damage to their driver side bumper. The suspect vehicle was identified and approximately $1 500 of damage was done.

10:43 am – 800 block High St W – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was seized and impounded for 30 days.

2:50 pm – 500 block Thatcher Dr E – Theft – Store merchandise was stolen and police are still investigating to identify suspects.

4:01 pm – 1100 block 1st Av NW – Warrant Executed – A subject was arrested on warrants and was released with a later court date.

4:42 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Warrant Executed – A subject was arrested on warrants and was released with a later court date.

5:46 pm – 800 block 5th Av NW – Unwanted Guest – A complainant called in regards to having someone removed from a residence. The subject left prior to police arrival.

8:00 pm – 500 block Laurier St – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant stated that their child had been taken by someone. The child was found safe at home and the situation has been mediated.

9:07 pm – 0 block Fairford St W – Warrant Executed – A transient individual was arrested on warrants. The subject is being held for court.

9:57 pm – 700 block Hochelaga St W – Intoxicated Person – A complainant arrived at their place of residence and found an unknown subject sitting on their doorstep. The subject was found to be intoxicated and was brought to cells and held until sober.

10:40 pm – 800 block Chester Rd – Noise Bylaw – A complainant reported hearing crying and yelling coming from another unit. The subject was having difficulty putting their child to bed and was warned under the noise bylaw.

12:21 am – 800 block 14th Av NW – A subject was found walking in the streets while intoxicated. The subject was held in cells until sober.
