Moose Jaw Police responded to 39 calls for service.

9:49 am –300 Block Main St N – Found Property – A cell phone was turned in to police.  The owner was contacted and attended the station to retrieve it.

10:01 am – 200 Block Grandview St W – Found Property – A purse found in a back alley was turned in to police.  The owner was contacted and advised it was taken from their vehicle sometime overnight.

10:49 am – 700 Block Hochelaga St W – Mischief – The driver’s side and hood of a vehicle was keyed sometime overnight.  Police continue to investigate.

10:57 am – 1300 Block Princess Cr – Fraud – A complainant sold an item on Kijiji, received more money than was required, and was asked to send the remaining money back.  The complainant is now out $4200 via a scam.

12:13 pm – 1400 Block Grandview St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight a vehicle was entered and a hockey bag of clothing was taken.  The property was previously located by police and was returned to the owner.

12:18 pm – 200 Block Athabasca St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight a vehicle entered and rummaged through. There appears to be nothing missing.

12:20 pm – 1100 Block Iroquois St W – Theft from Vehicle – Sometime overnight a vehicle was entered and various property was taken.  

1:25 pm – 1200 Block Pascoe Dr W – Mischief – Sometime overnight a bottle was thrown through the rear window of a vehicle. 

3:39 pm – 0 Block Thatcher Dr E – MVA – There was a minor vehicle collision in a parking lot,  with one party failing to notify the other owner of the incident.  The offending vehicle owner was located and spoken to.  Police are still investigating to speak with the victim vehicle’s registered owner to complete the name exchange.

4:41 pm – 900 Block Stadacona St E – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle was being driven by a suspended and impoundable driver.  The vehicle was seized for 30 days.

7:32 pm – 800 Block 8th Av NW – Fire Call – Smoke in a dryer vent  circulated through a residence.  No damage, no injuries, and residents were not displaced.

10:56 pm – 1400 Block Normandy Dr – Theft of Auto – Sask plate 599KKQ, a white 2001 Dodge Dakota, was stolen from out front of a residence.  Keys were in the vehicle.  The vehicle was added to the national database as stolen.

11:21 pm – 600 Block Stadacona St E – Breach Court Order – A curfew check was completed with the subject not being home.  Charges are pending.

11:26 pm – 1300 Block 12th Av SW – Theft from Vehicle – Two subjects were seen snooping around an area, trying to enter vehicles.  Descriptions were obtained.  The suspect vehicle was located and fled from police at high rates of speed.  A plate number and vehicle description were obtained and found to be from a truck previously reported stolen.  Police continue to investigate.

11:40 pm – 1100 Block Henleaze Av – Breach Court Order – A curfew check was completed with the subject not being home.  Charges are pending.

11:54 pm – Main St N at Oxford St W – Breach Court Order – A traffic stop was conducted and a subject was found on conditions to refrain from contact or communication with the other occupant in the vehicle.  Both occupants were charged with breaching a court order, one by way of aiding & abetting.

12:11 am – 1100 Block 2nd Av NE – Breach Court Order – A curfew check was completed with the subject not being home.  Charges are pending.

12:29 am – 1200 Block 5th Av NW – Breach Court Order – A curfew check was completed with the subject not being home.  Charges are pending.

12:34 am – 1600 Block Main St N – Dispute – Mediated.  A refund of money owed was given.

4:42 am – 1200 Block Coteau St E – Breach Court Order – A curfew check was completed with the subject not being home.  Charges are pending.

5:14 am – Blue Sage Dr at Crocus Rd – Recovered Stolen Property – Sask plate 599KKQ, a white 2001 Dodge Dakota previously reported stolen and involved in a flight from police was located.  It was seized and is to be processed by Ident Officers.  Police continue to investigate.
