Moose Jaw Police responded to 28 calls for service.

9:11 am – 1100 Block 4th Av NE – Parking Bylaw – Vehicles that sat overnight were blocking a driveway. Police spoke with the registered owner, who moved the vehicle.

10:34 am – 900 Block Montgomery St – Threats – There was a dispute over property between two parties. One party was charged with assault.

12:12 pm – 0 Home St E – Dispute – A person keeps coming to the complainant’s residence while intoxicated. Police attended and had the person stay at another’s place until sober.

12:18 pm – 800 Block Main St N – Threats – A person received threats overnight. Police spoke with the people involved and mediated the situation.

2:12 pm – 200 Block 1st Av NW – Shoplifting – A person took product and left the store. Police had a description. They are investigating to speak with the complainant.

2:58 pm – 900 Hawthorne Cres – Theft Under – A vehicle was entered sometime overnight. Sunglasses, CD’s, and personal identification were taken. The ID was reported to the appropriate authorities.

6:02 pm – 1000 6th Av NE – Other Bylaw – A vehicle came and dumped items on the side of the road. The complainant caught the licence plate. Police are investigating.

6:53 pm – 500 Block Home St W – MVA – A vehicle hit another vehicle and left the area. Witnesses obtained the licence plate. Police attended to the registered owner’s residence and spoke with them; they were not aware of the accident. Police assisted with name exchange.

8:42 pm – 800 Block Hochelaga St E – Mischief – A dispute ended up with one party leaving and damaging property. Police are investigating to speak with the damaging party.

8:52 pm – 800 Block 4th Av SW – Dispute – Police attended and found all parties to be intoxicated; they worked at keeping the parties separated for the evening. A second 911 call shortly after, to the same location, and one party was charged with assault.

10:51 pm – Athabasca St E at Main St N – Suspicious Occurrence – A person rolled the window down beside the complainant. The complainant insulted the person in car, who then drove off. The complainant stated that the driver’s actions were suspicious in nature.

12:36 am – 900 Block Alder Av – Suspicious Occurrence – A person was playing nicky nicky nine doors in the area. The complainant stated that they had a photo they would turn over to police. Police spoke with the complainant, who stated that the description was fairly vague. While attempting to patrol the area, a 911 call came in and interrupted.

12:46 am – 800 Block Chester Rd – Assault – A domestic dispute turned physical. The complainant could hear the fight from another unit. Police attended and removed one party. Both parties involved were charged with various versions of assault.

1:55 am – 0 Block Manitoba St W – Intoxicated Person – A person at an establishment was intoxicated and being belligerent. Police attended and found the person breaching multiple conditions of their order. They were brought to cells until sober, and charges are to be laid.

4:11 am – 0 Block Main St N – Dispute – There was a dispute between two parties, with one keeping another’s belongings. Police spoke with one party, who stated they just needed a phone for a ride, and will deal with the property dispute once everyone is sober.

5:51 am – 1100 1st Av NW – Suspicious Person – A person was walking down the block banging on doors, then running after a vehicle. Police attended and assisted the person in finding their way home.
