Moose Jaw Police responded to 24 calls for service. 

8:36 am – Manitoba St E at Main St N – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant observed two people on bikes and thought that one appeared to be a stolen bike that they were aware of. Police attended to the area, but the persons were gone.

11:03 am – 1000 Block Athabasca St E – Unwanted Guest – A guest was giving staff a hard time and they wanted her removed. Police attended and the guest left with no issues.

12:08 pm – 0 Block Fairford St E – Theft Under – The day prior a complainant stated that their purse was stolen. Police are investigating to speak with the complainant to sort out the details.

2:18 pm – 800 Block Elizabeth St – Harassing Calls – This has been ongoing for approximately 3 months. The complainant is being stalked, and a person is being aggressive towards them. Police are to warn the person to cease all communication.

3:44 pm – 0 Block River St E – Hit & Run – This occurred sometime this morning. There was damage of approximately $3,000 to the front bumper, with no paint transfer and no suspects.

4:54 pm – 11th Av SW at Lillooet St W – Traffic Obstruction – A complainant stated that it’s difficult to see the stop sign and other important views in the area. Police attended and ticketed a car for parking to close to a fire hydrant. Other vehicles in the area were fine.

7:01 pm – Oxford St E at Alder Av – MVA – There was a two vehicle accident with no injuries. Two vehicles were towed, one ticket was issued for disobeying a stop sign, and another for an inappropriate licence. Approximately $50,000 of damage was done.

7:11 pm – 11th Av NE at Manitoba St E – Recovered Stolen Property – A trailer stolen previously was found in the area.

10:09 pm – 5th Av NW at Ominica St W – Suspicious Vehicle – A complainant called in and stated that a vehicle had been running since about 5:30 that evening. Police attended and spoke to the registered owner, who stated that they forgot the vehicle was running and rectified the situation.

11:09 pm – 200 Block River St E – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant called in and stated that an alarm was going off in the residence beside them. Police attended and found the residence to be empty and the building secure.

12:05 am – 0 Block Lillooet St E – Intoxicated Person – A person was reported to be intoxicated and on orders to not consume. Police attended and mediated the situation. They charged the person with breach of conditions.

12:38 am – 400 Block Main St N – Suspicious Occurrence – A complainant called in and stated they heard a bang and saw a large flash of light around the area. Police attended to the area but did not see anything damaged. SaskPower was contacted to check out situation.

12:41 am – 1200 Block 11th Av SW – Suspicious Occurrence – A person called in stating that someone was at their door, knocking. Police attended and found everything to be quiet on arrival.

Police assisted other police agencies in two cases.
Police responded to two parking bylaws.
Police responded to one 911 call.
