Moose Jaw Police responded to 31 calls for service.

10:24 am – 300 block Main St N – Hit & Run – There was approximately $800 of damage to the driver’s side of the complainant’s vehicle. It was struck by another vehicle that left without exchanging information.

11:18 am – 1300 block 13th Ave SW – Threats – An employee was threatened.  The file is still under investigation.

11:39 am – 0 block Main St N – Well Being Check – The subject was spoken to and is fine.  The complainant was notified.

12:02 pm – 200 block High St W – Threats – A complainant was threatened and a statement was obtained.  Police are still investigating.

2:26 pm – 1200 block Irving Ave – Dispute – There was a property dispute between ex roommates, and it is still under investigation.

3:13 pm – 1st Ave NE at Marlborough St – Collision – There was a two-vehicle collision with no injuries, one vehicle towed, approximately $6000 in damage, and one charge of proceeding from a stop sign before it was safe.

5:09 pm – 1500 block Hochelaga St W – Mischief – A complainant’s vehicle was egged. 

5:37 pm – Main St N at Fairford St W – Collision – There was a two-vehicle collision with one minor injury. Both vehicles were towed, and there was approximately $15,000 of damage and one charge of proceeding from a stop sign before it was safe.

6:09 pm – 800 block Chester Rd – Dispute – There was an ongoing issue between neighbours.  Police are still investigating.

7:16 pm – 100 block 7th Ave NW – Well Being Check – A subject was spoken to and called the complainant to advise them that they were fine.

8:34 pm – 300 block Manitoba St W – License Suspension – A driver blew a “Warn” on an Approved Screening Device during a police check stop.  The individual’s license was suspended for three days and the vehicle was impounded for three days.

8:33 pm – 0 block Fairford St E – Hit & Run – A vehicle struck a building and left without reporting the damage.  Police are still investigating to locate the suspect vehicle.

9:06 pm – 300 block Manitoba St W – Drug Possession – The subject was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and was released on conditions for a later court date.

9:12 pm – 300 block Manitoba St W – Towed Vehicle – A driver was issued a ticket for driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and the vehicle was towed.

10:00 pm – 1 Hwy E at Caribou St E – Erratic Driving – A vehicle was noted driving unsafely on the #1 highway and into the city. The driver was warned for their driving actions.

10:12 pm – 300 block Manitoba St W – Vehicle Seizure – A driver had a suspended license.  The vehicle was impounded for 30 days as per SGI regulations.

10:18 pm – 800 block Grey Ave – Warrant Executed – A parole violator was arrested on an outstanding Canada-wide warrant and was brought to cells.

12:59 am – 1st Ave NE at High St E – Impaired Driving – A driver was charged with driving over .08 and impaired driving.  The vehicle was seized for 30 days and an indefinite license suspension was issued.

Police charged three with failing to attend court.
Police assisted two other agencies.
Police responded to three 911 calls.
