Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.
 

7:43 am – 1400 Block Smith St – Barking Dog – An owner lets their dog out early mornings and the dog barks constantly while out. Police attended to the residence, but the home owner was not available, and there was no dog barking on arrival. Police are investigating.

10:01 am – 1st Av NE at Fairford St E – Erratic Driving – A complainant was standing at a crosswalk and was almost hit by a small vehicle. The complainant requested that the driver be warned. Police are investigating.

10:09 am – 200 Block North Service Rd – A suspicious vehicle came on to the complainant’s property; the individual thinks it may be a vehicle involved in issues from a previous time. Police are investigating.

10:14 am – 1600 Block Admiral Cres – Harassing Calls – A complainant was stating that they received some unwanted messages that frightened them. Police are investigating.

11:17 am – 0 Block Lillooet St E – Suspicious Person – A person appeared to be looking into houses in the area. Police attended and spoke with a person who stated they were just waiting to meet someone for an appointment in the area.

12:40 pm – 400 Block Langdon Cres – Suspicious Occurrence – It appears that someone is stashing items in bushes in an area, and that there are odd people throughout the area. The complainant requested more police presence in the area.

1:57 pm – 500 Block Main St N – Harassing Calls – Someone left a love note and contact information for a complainant. The complainant also stated that the person from the note has followed them around. Police are investigating to get in contact with the person who left the note.

3:20 pm – 1000 Block 5th Av NW – MVA – There was a three vehicle accident. The complainant turned a corner and misjudged, had mechanical failure, and caused an accident. There was approximately $15,000 in damage, no charges, two vehicles towed, and no injuries.

11:05 pm – Wood Lily Dr at Flax Rd – Wildlife Act – A complainant called and stated that there was a cow at large in the area. Police attended with help to secure the animal, but the animal was never located.

11:21 pm – 1200 Block Main St N – Erratic Driving – A complainant stated that cars were racing around in the parking lot. Police attended and found no vehicles on arrival.

11:35 pm – 1300 Block Gordon Rd – Breach of Order – A complainant stated that they were contacted via electronic communications by someone that is on orders of no contact. Police are investigating for charges.

11:40 pm – 800 Block 7th Av NW – Barking Dog – Dogs could be heard barking in the area. Police attended and spoke with the owner, who had fallen asleep. The individual promptly brought the animal back in.

1:47 am – 0 Block Manitoba St W – Disturbance – People were throwing glass bottles at vehicles. Police arrived and found the persons doing such an act had left the area.
