Moose Jaw Police responded to 44 calls for service.

8:43 am – The owner of a stolen auto located the vehicle with 3 subjects inside. Police attended and arrested and charged the three subjects with possession of a stolen auto and possession of break-in instruments.

8:45 am – Tools were stolen from a truck sometime in the past few days; this is still under investigation.

8:59 am – A horse trailer was stolen sometime overnight. It was added to the Canada-wide database.

10:30 am – A subject was seeking options for obtaining a peace bond. Options were given.

10:55 am – Sometime within the past 3 months a plate was stolen off of a parked vehicle. It was added to the Canada-wide database.

11:03 am – There was a report of an erratic driver with the plate number obtained. The registered owner was spoken to and warned about their driving actions.

12:06 pm – Sometime overnight some tail lights were removed from a vehicle. This was reported for information purposes.

1:58 pm – There was a report of an unwanted guest at a local business. The subject left prior to police arrival.

2:09 pm – Sometime within the past few days someone keyed a vehicle. The damage is estimated at $500.

2:58 pm – A hit and run occurred in a parking lot. This is still under investigation to speak to other driver involved.

3:06 pm – Police were asked to do a well-being check on a subject. The subject was located and was fine. The complainant was advised.

3:11 pm – Police are investigating a possible fraud.

6:40 pm – There was a report of a driver driving with a child on their lap. The plate number was obtained, and the driver was spoken to and warned as per the complainant’s wishes.

7:06 pm – There was a suspicious vehicle in the area. The driver was spoken to, who was just hanging out playing video games.

8:20 pm – There was a two vehicle MVA with no injuries. One vehicle towed, the damages were estimated at $15,000, and one driver was charged with proceeding from a stop sign before safe.

8:45 pm – A dispute took place between two parties. A statement was taken, and this is still under investigation.

9:59 pm – A dispute took place between two parties. One party agreed to leave to stay with a friend for the night, and the dispute was mediated.

10:13 pm – A dispute took place between two parties. One party was taken home for the night and will be re-evaluating the friendship.

10:52 pm – Sometime during the day a vehicle was stolen from a parking lot. Stolen was a grey 4-door Nissan Altima bearing the Saskatchewan plate 784KTM. A stolen auto form was signed and the vehicle was later found at a local business.
