Moose Jaw Police responded to 40 calls for service. 

7:35 am – Suspicious Person – An adult was noted sleeping next to a building.  The adult was located napping and was sent on their way.

7:44 am – Fail to Attend – Four adults failed to appear in court on the previous dates.  Warrants were issued.

9:19 am – Abandoned Vehicle – A vehicle was left on the roadway.  It was towed.

10:56 am – Well Being Check – Concern for family member was received.  The individual was located safely inside their residence and was wearing headphones so they couldn’t hear a door knock or phone.

11:14 am – Parking – Two vehicles were parked too close to a driveway.  Both vehicles were ticketed.

11:52 am – Parking – A vehicle was parked against a white curb. The vehicle was ticketed.

12:45 pm – Well Being Check – An adult was late for work. It was all okay – they had slept in.

1:07 pm – Breach Court Order – An adult reported this to be in breach of their Conditional Sentence Order.  A warrant was issued.

3:52 pm – Theft – Shoplifting at a local store was reported.  An adult was charged.

5:45 pm – Dispute – Two adults were arguing over a bike.  The parties were separated and left the area.

6:06 pm – Vehicle Theft – This was unfounded as the owner located it across the street.  The individual forgot where they parked the vehicle.

8:22 pm – Theft – An adult was caught shoplifting.  The adult is to be charged.

9:07 pm – Missing Person – Police located a missing person from Quebec.  The subject was located and fine.  They were given a place to stay for the night, and Quebec was notified of their status.

2:00 am – Loud Vehicles – There was a complaint of a loud vehicle passing by 3 times in past half hour.  The area was monitored.  There were no loud vehicles.

4:11 am – Noise Bylaw – People were yelling, maybe a party. The home owner was warned of the bylaw.

Police responded to five parking bylaw infractions.
Police charged four for failures to appear in court.
Police assisted other agencies in six cases.
