Police and Fire Report

Moose Jaw Police responded to 26 calls for service.

8:21 am – Found Property – A wallet with ID was turned in. Police are to make contact with the owner.

9:49 am – Fraud Cheque – A subject submitted a forged cheque. The subject is to be charged.

12:52 pm – Theft Unfounded – A phone was thought to be stolen but was later found in the owner’s vehicle. 

2:24 pm – Theft of Bikes and Recycling – The complainant had multiple items stolen from their yard.

2:36 pm – Driving Impaired – There was a report of a possible impaired driver. The subject was arrested for impaired driving and exceeding .08. The subject was held in cells until sober and is to be released in the morning for a later court date.

3:52 pm – Shoplifting – A subject was caught shoplifting and was charged with theft and was subsequently charged with obstruction and breach of probation times 3. The subject has been released and will attend court at a later date.

5:42 pm – Parking Bylaw – A vehicle parked in front of a complainant’s garage. The complainant could not get out of the garage. The registered owner was notified.

6:01pm – Dangerous Driving – A license plate was obtained, and the registered owner is to be spoken to as the vehicle was not located at the time.

8:14 pm – Assist to Sick Person – A subject left the hospital in a vehicle. The individual was located and taken back to the hospital.

8:44 pm – Suspicious Person – A subject was running in and out of traffic. The subject was not located.

9:26 pm – Dog Barking – A complainant called in that dogs had been barking for an hour. A message was left for the owner.

10:40 pm – Theft Under – Cells phones and hats were taken. The suspects were known, and this is still under investigation.

12:18 am – Dispute – A drunken dispute was mediated. All parties were sent home.

5:23 pm – Assist EMS – The subject was transported to hospital by EMS.
