Moose Jaw Police responded to 25 calls for service.

8:46 am – There was a report of a person walking on the railing of the bridge. The subject was located walking on the sidewalk and was spoken to. They admitted to walking on the railing, and police advised them not to for safety.

2:21 pm – Well Being Check – A complainant requested a well-being check on a friend they haven’t heard from for over a week. The subject was located in fine health, and the complainant was advised.

3:03 pm – Shoplifting – An adult has been charged with shoplifting and was released for a later court date.

3:12 pm – Unwanted Guest – A subject was causing problems and wouldn’t leave when asked. The subject was arrested on outstanding warrants.

3:50 pm – At approximately 4:30 am a subject known to the complainant broke into a residence. The individual assaulted the resident and then left. A warrant was issued for breaking, entering and three charges of, robbery, theft and disguise with intent. Police continue to investigate.

5:21 pm – Police are investigating a possible assault.

6:11 pm – Moose Jaw Police Service assisted another police agency by obtaining a witness statement.

7:16 pm – A complainant received unwanted contact with another person. The police are to speak to other party involved to advise them to stop any further contact.

7:30 pm – A warrant has been issued for assault with a weapon.

8:08 pm – Shoplifting – Police responded to a report of shoplifting. Two subjects were located in the area matching the description provided by the loss prevention officer. The two subjects were arrested for shoplifting and after a subsequent search concealed weapons were located. Both were also charged with weapons offences. Both subjects were held in cells and will be going to court in the morning.

9:16 am – Dispute – A dispute took place between two parties. One party was spoken to. This is still under investigation to speak to the other party involved.

5:54 am –Dispute – A dispute over property was mediated.

Police responded to six 911 calls.
Police responded to one alarm call.
Police executed three warrants.
