Moose Jaw  Police responded to 29 calls for service.

8:49 am – Assist Other Agency – A person was attempting to leave a residence against staff wishes. The person found by police and brought back home.

11:25 am – Dispute – A person took property from another person. Police contacted the complainant and received more information. This is under investigation.

11:38 am – Recovered Stolen Property – A vehicle showed up behind a complainant’s home while they were away. The vehicle had been reported stolen. Police are investigating for ident work.

11:49 am – Fraud – A person was scammed out of $300. The person was talking to the other person on the phone, who hung up when the money was sent.

12:14 pm – Mischief – Damage was done to items in a building. Police are investigating to see if video caught anyone.

2:38 pm – Dispute Between Neighbours – A person was digging holes on another person’s property. Police attended and mediated the situation.

2:39 pm – Loud Party – A party was taking place in the back yard at a house on the corner, and this was reported by a complainant. Police attended and found it to be a bottle drive, not a party.

3:22 pm – Break & Enter – A complainant’s garage was entered sometime overnight. Police attended and found that a small box of screws was stolen. Also found were 3 empty needles to be destroyed.

6:18 pm – Dispute Between Neighbours – A complainant stated that they are worried that their neighbour’s dog gets too high jumping up the fence when they have company over. Police are to speak with the dog’s owner about the situation.

8:32 pm – Unwanted Guest – A person known to a complainant came to the complainant’s residence and was banging on windows and doors and walls. The individual did not enter residence, and the complainant does not believe any damage occurred. The complainant did not wish police involvement, just to have the situation documented in case any other further incidents occur.

10:10 pm – Indecent Act – A person in an area exposed themselves and left in a hurry once realized they were seen. Police attended to the area and retrieved evidence that may belong to the person.

10:11 pm – Dispute – A person came to the door swearing and berating the complainant. Police attended and mediated the situation, and they warned the person who was being belligerent of their actions.

11:41 pm – Suspicious Person – A person was going down the street with what appeared to be a shopping cart full of items. Police located the person as described, and the person is to be charged with being in possession of stolen items.

1:59 am – Dog Barking – A dog in the area was barking incessantly for hours. Police attended but did not hear dogs barking. Police are investigating to get in touch with the owners to discuss the situation.
