Moose Jaw Police responded to 41 calls for service.

7:31 am – Insecurity – The back door of home was wide open. Police attended and spoke with the home owner and everything was fine.

7:40 am – MVA – This involved two vehicles, no injuries and both vehicles were towed. One person was charged for unsafe backing.

10:53 am – Theft of Auto – A vehicle was lent out and not returned. The matter is still under investigation to speak with the subject.

11:14 am – Bike Theft – A red and white CCM mountain bike valued at $200 was locked up behind an apartment building. This was reported for information purposes.  

11:26 am – Threats – An individual was threatened, and the matter is still under investigation.

11:40 am – Unwanted Guest – An individual was walking around displaying unusual behaviour. Police attended and spoke with the individual and they were sent on their way.

12:14 pm – Dispute – There was a dispute between 2 individuals and the situation was mediated.

1:36 pm – Theft – Upon police investigation it was deemed that there was no theft and the situation is a civil matter over property.

2:26 pm – Dangerous Dog – The complainant’s dog was attacked by 2 others. The matter is under investigation to speak with the offending dog’s owner.

2:57 pm – Dispute Between Neighbours – All involved were spoken to and the situation was mediated.

6:13 pm – Theft – Medications went missing from an individual’s home. Police have a suspect and continue to investigate. 

6:39 pm – Dispute – There were custody issues, and all parties were spoken to and advice was given. One adult was warned.

7:49 pm – Dispute Between Neighbours – Both parties were spoken to and the situation was mediated. 

9:50 pm – Mischief – A complainant came home and discovered 4 broken windows. Police have a suspect and continue to investigate.

10:42 pm – Suspicious Person – Police attended the area. The person in question lived in the area and was not at all suspicious. The individual was going to go inside for the night.

Police assisted other agencies in four cases.
