Moose Jaw Police responded to 62 calls for service.

7:17 am – Mischief – A vehicle was egged sometime overnight.  The complainant has suspects.  Police continue to investigate.

9:32 am – Theft – A black, 3 foot cement Buddha statue was taken sometime between June 29-July 2.  Police continue to investigate.

10:48 am – Disturbance – A subject was being released from hospital and was causing a scene.  The subject left upon Police request.

1:15 pm – Bike Theft – A dark blue Cannondale hybrid bicycle was stolen.  The serial number was provided to be added to the database as stolen.

1:34 pm – MVA with Injury – A two vehicle collision resulted in $30,000 of damage, two towed vehicles and one minor injury.  One driver was charged with proceeding from a stop sign before it was safe.

1:52 pm – Found Property – Property was returned to the owner by Police.

3:32 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred July 12, causing approximately $1000 of damage to a rear bumper, with a green paint transfer.

3:54 pm – Vehicle Seizure – A vehicle driven by a suspended and impoundable driver was seized for 30 days.  The driver was issued tickets for driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while suspended.

4:06 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred July 11, causing approximately $1000 of damage to a rear bumper.

4:29 pm – Mischief – A vehicle was egged and the complainant has a suspect.  Police continue to investigate.

4:35 pm – Provincial Traffic Offence – A plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle driven by a person on a cell phone.  Police are investigating to speak with the registered owner.

5:37 pm – Hit & Run – This occurred July 7 or 8, causing approximately $1000 of damage to the rear driver’s side fender.

7:02 pm – Dispute –There was a verbal disagreement between two parties that was mediated by Police.

7:22 pm – Theft – Neighbours were plugging extension cords into a complainant’s residence to get power.  The residents responsible were spoken to and warned regarding the theft of power.

7:46 pm – Threats – A subject threatening to harm self or family.  The subject was located by Police and was detained for uttering threats and mischief.  The subject was held in cells overnight and was released by a judge on conditions and is to attend court at a later date.

8:00 pm – Dispute – A dispute occurred between parties over property.  The subjects were advised to contact the rentalsmen office and follow their directions.

9:53 pm – Impaired Driving – A plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle suspected to be driven by an impaired driver.  The vehicle and driver were located. The driver was sober and had just dropped property on the floor.  The driver was warned regarding their driving actions.

10:12 pm – Impaired Driving – The plate number and vehicle description were obtained from a vehicle believed to be driven by an impaired driver.  The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted. The driver was found to be sober but was warned regarding their driving actions.

11:03 pm – Assist to Locate – A subject was located and transported home.

12:05 pm – Breach Court Order – A subject left a residence contrary to a court order.  A warrant was issued for their arrest.

1:07 am – ASD Demand – A traffic stop resulted in a driver being issued an ASD demand.  The driver blew under the legal limit; however, they were issued a ticket for driving contrary to licence restrictions of 0 tolerance.
