The Pulse Promoter of the Year award has been won by some key people in the industry including Dr. Al Slinkard and Ray McVicar. The Saskatchewan Pulse Growers are looking for nominees for this years award.
"It really cuts across the entire swath of the pulse industry right from farmers, extension people, plant breeders and also people who are innovative in marketing. We really try to cover everyone involved in the pulse industry," said Chairman Maurice Berry.
Nomination forms are available on the Sask Pulse web site or through their office in Saskatoon. The deadline for nominations is October 1st.
