The Moose Jaw Peewee A Warriors came just short of capturing the SHA Peewee AA Tier II provincial championship on Tuesday night in the Bridge City.

Moose Jaw headed into the second game of the two-game total point series down 6-5 and they dropped a 6-3 game to the Saskatoon Bobcat Jets to just miss out on the provincial title.

Nolan Kearns had two goals in the loss, while Layne Gadd picked up the other marker for the Warriors. Carter Michaluk and Jacob Michelson had one assist each.

The season isn't over for the Warriors as they will now look to capture the Hockey Regina League title with a win on Wednesday night in the Queen City.
